AIC New Projects:

30 MW Coal Burning Power Plant:

Coal based Thermal Power plant having an installed capacity of 30 MW at the city of Pul-e-Khumri, Province of Baghlan, located 235 KM north of Kabul.

Coal Mines:

Modernization of the Mines: We are in the process of setting up a captive power plant for securing power at a substantially lower cost than the national grid.  We source cheaper and higher quality coal from the captive coal mines at KARAKAR, DUDKASH, AHANDARA AND KHURDARA. But to run 5,400 TPD cement plants and a 30 MW captive power plant, we are embarking upon a most challenging task of modernizing / mechanizing the mines to get the desired output.

Ghori III Cement Plant:

Furthermore, the group is also setting up Ghori III Cement Plant, near the existing Ghori II facility, which will be a new state of the art Greenfield Cement Plant using dry process with a production line of 4,000 TPD clinker. The plant is expected to be in operation by the end of 2013.
